Fact: Germans have great taste in punk rock.

See that chick winkin' at you. Click that shit. And you will have your proof. Those bad ass mofos over at Pogoradio in Germany have played the greatest punk band in the universe: The Counterfeit Saints. It took weeks of tedious negotiations (mostly over money, and us not understanding them cause they speak German) but in the end, the proof is in the pudding. Germans have great taste in punk rock.

Last night the Counterfeit Saints played for a butt load of people at The Waterfront in Marina Del Rey California. The crowd was estimated in the hundreds as you can see in the photo above. Daniel was given a free helicopter ride as a prize for winning the Guitar Center 09 Shredfest Guitar Solo Championship last monday and was able to take the pic just moments before the Saints took the stage.

Needless to say Brian the patron saint of drinking was working his magic on the crowd as usual.

One of the biggest surprises of the night came when Micheal got up from his drum set, transformed into Godzilla and fucked a huge menacing dinosaur into submission. His response "Eh, no big whoop."

Jason found a loop hole that allowed him to smoke cigarettes on stage and the bar management could say nothing about it. He simply tried to break the smoking world record. Unfortunately this was the result:

All in all a pretty good show for The Counterfeit Saints. We made this much money (also estimated to be in the hundreds):

We also managed to rock the socks off the crowd, and we in The Counterfeit Saints think that's kinda important. All in all we here in The Counterfeit Saints think this picture sums up the night best:
